Digital pen and paper revolutionizes customer research

Challenge:
Make it quicker and simpler to process the findings of research carried out in stores. Improve the analysis of data and provide it speedily to clients.

Solution:
The equipment consists of digital pen and paper in combination with mobile phone and routing software that is used to send the digital pen data into iForms2U.

Benefits:
Faster administrative process – faster feedback to clients, easier to carry out sophisticated analysis of the data than when using normal paper and pen.
The need for data entry is almost entirely removed – when all the information is already on the pen, all that is needed is a quick check to make sure everything has been transferred properly to the computer system.

Orders delivered more quickly thanks to digital pen

To improve data sales capture by eliminating discrepancy between eported and deliverable contracts. To speed up delivery from time of order. To reduce administrative costs by cutting out redundant data entry process.

Solution:
The equipment consists of digital pen and paper in combination with mobile phone and routing software that is used to send the digital pen data into iForms2U.

Benefits:
Sales order data is registered in the central database in seconds. Cuts out back office data entry. Faster delivery, invoicing and sales statistics data. 100% traceability. No special training required.
Real time statistics on the daily sales allows managers to provide back resources and support where and when needed.

DPP – frees time for the sales force

Challenge:
A company that has more than 170 sales representatives who every year perform more than 400,000 customer visits. The DPP technology's task is to simplify and streamline the order management for the sales people working in the field.

Solution:
The equipment consists of digital pen and paper in combination with mobile phone and routing software that is used to send the digital pen data into iForms2U. A mobile phone with Bluetooth technology is used to transmit forms from the site back to the office. The solution also contains components for transferring information from the digital pen via the sales representative’s mobile phone to a server. There, a PDF original of the handwritten order form is created. The handwritten order goes through a character-recognition process, resulting in an XML file that contains the data needed for creating an order in the company's business system.
Benefits:
Reduced lead times from order to delivery and thereby increased degree of service to the customer.
Simplified and streamlined order management for the sales persons.
Minimized amount of time that the sales people need to spend in the evenings to administer the orders of the day.
Minimized work load for sales support associated with the management of express orders.
More time for the sales persons to spend with the customers.
A scalable solution that is able to manage many different types of forms in the future.
The solution removes great parts of the order administration, which means that every sales person saves up to one hour a day, time that can be spent on the customers instead.
